And then down US94 and up to Los Alamos. I didn’t do my research here- I had no idea it was stuck up on the top of a mountain (which is actually an extinct volcano). It is a seriously steep drive to get up there.
These days it’s a pleasant little town towering above the valley.
You can see the TOP SECRET NUCLEAR BASE across from the town but, of course, you can’t get anywhere near it.
