Didn’t get to see much of Scottsdale. Rolled the Challenger out onto Interstate 10 by about 0900 to try to make it to Palm Springs in time for lunch.
I10 is Loooong and straight and boring. Nothing happens.Not often my SatNav has nothing to do for the next 160 miles…
But as the Pearl Harbour Memorial Highway inexplicably morphes into the Sonny Bono Memorial Highway – we’re into the final state on this roadtrip – California. I stopped off at one of the few service areas to celebrate with a coffee and a doughnut.
