On to Kingman

First overnight on the trip is at Kingman. Not a particularly exciting town, but it’s where US93 meets the old Route 66.

This motel has a lovely sign but it looked like an absolute dump, so I’m in the Best Western across the road…

Filled up the car in town. $52 dollars for a tank – yep – 52 DOLLARS to fill it up.

Tomorrow I head up the old Route 66, rather than the boring interstate, and then onto Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.
